Carmen Tayao is 78 and has stayed with us for three years. She is a widow with three surviving children. Due to the busy schedule of her three daughters, they decided to put her under our care. Since first arriving, Carmen is slowly learning to adapt to her new environment and care.
Juana Mangulabnan is 78 and has stayed with us for three years. When she first came under our care, she was blind in both eyes, skinny and malnourished. She was living with her nieces and nephews in a shanty where food supply was a daily problem. She is now being cared for and is progressing in her health. She has recently undergone eye surgery which has restored sight in one of her eyes. Please pray that another sponsor would be provided for sight in her other eye.
Virginia Ejercito is 76 and a widow. She was a clothes laundry woman before she became blind. After she was referred to us by a local government agency, we visited and found her shelter was a portion of a pig sty with pigs sharing the space. The only partition was a piece of old plywood. She has since come to stay at our facility. Please pray that she also would have her eye sight restored with surgery. |
