Deborah Christian School, previously Deborah Learning Center, was founded in 2004. We offer three levels of preschool as well as Elementary grades 1, 2 and 3. Our preschool consists of Nursery for ages 3-4, Kinder 1 for ages 4-5 and Kinder 2 for ages 5-6. The curriculum is presented along with educational field trips, school contests, a Christmas program and annual commencement exercises.

 

We recently had 42 students enrolled during our 2007 / 2008 school year and 49 others enrolled in our Summer School Program. Summer School is a free one month program attended mostly by neighborhood children from underprivileged families. Our goal is to prepare young learners to enter school and to help them enjoy learning! We teach them in all subjects including coloring and drawing for 2 hours each morning.

 

Principal Sucing Manalastas, a Deborah board member, is assisted by staff comprised of 5 teachers and 1 administrator. We strive to involve the student's families in various aspects of furthering education. It is our desire to increase both the grades of education offered and the number of students & faculty.
